Akoma is a Ghanaian black-owned business supplying natural plant-based skincare products and ingredients. Our core products are our Organic, Vegan and Fairly Traded Raw Shea Butter and our Authentic Original Ghanaian Black Soap both made using traditional methods by the women of the Akoma Cooperative, based in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
We also provide palm oil, virgin coconut oil, cocoa butter and other natural organic plant-based products all produced in cooperatives in Ghana, using older farming methods that don't harm the environment, animals and land. Our raw shea butter and black soap are fairly traded, which means all our workers from the Akoma Cooperative are paid a fair price. This also includes other cooperatives we work with, helping them all to enhance their lives for now and the future.
Our mission is to help change a million lives for the better with the help of all our customers.
